Art Collage: 1-3pm PST/ 4-6PM EST

In New Collage, we learn about perspective, form, color, textures, dimensional space by cutting and assembling images to create compelling compositions. Each week a new artist is introduced so as well as generating a collage you are also learning about how the project is contextualized into the world of contemporary art. In this session we will create collages with themes presented each week.

TUESDAYS:

Drawing with Color: ‍ ‍10-12am PST/ 1-3pm EST

In this class, we will be introduced to drawing in color. We will work on landscapes, nature (gardens, paths), cottages, arches, overlaying color to generate colorful compositions. Color theory and new techniques will be presented, such as: light, shadows, and harmony in space. Form, shape, and pop art drawings will be featured.

Abstract Painting: 1-3pm PST/ 4-6PM EST

In Abstract Painting we will learn how shapes and colors generate a new approach to language. Each week you will receive a new painting (and maybe more), we use this as a launching of inspiration to generate more. Textures, techniques and new concepts will be introduced.

Contemporary Impressionism: 1-3pm PST/ 4-6PM EST

Working with tints, pastel colors of landscapes, homes capes, still lives, we aim to bring impressionism into the current times. We will learn about brush techniques, composition, and self expression.

Curated by Online Art offers classes in drawing + painting + mixed media collage. for all levels contemporary art, business of art, visiting artists studios, and private lessons. Our aim is to build lasting relationships with students and to support their artistic growth.

While teaching online we simultaneously teach about contemporary art as an influence to the project. We aim to have artists create their own versions of the subject matter introduced. Originality and innovation are our objectives in supporting your process as an artist to reach our potential and thrive.

We curate the project based on what is current in the art world and introduce new and exciting techniques!
